Whatcha eating today? Sunday, 4/2/2017

Yesterday was horrible. I was livid then and I'm still super angry when I think about it. I went to a psychiatrist for management of my BED - when I called to schedule I asked, specifically, if he was able to deal with eating disorders and Vyvanse. I get there and one of the first things he says is that he doesn't have experience with eating disorders and proceeds to refer to binge eating disorder using scare air quotes. It went downhill from there. So I'm back to the drawing board. And livid.

Hopefully today will be a better day. I didn't binge yesterday due to my anger. I ran and I had lovely yoga, and this morning the scale is back to my lowest weight ever - the weight I was after my stomach bug on 3/23. So that's super awesome and I'm proud of myself for this. Today I'm going to see the new Trainspotting movie and, hopefully, will get some school work done!

1: protein shake
2: probably a protein bar due to being out at the movies
3: burgers!

liquid and vites: on track
exercise: yoga

How about you?

It's so frustrating and baffling to me that you're having such an issue and you live in rather populated area. I don't suffer from BED but it's scary to think about if I did since we're in the middle of nowhere compared to you.

I have my book club today, which will be a test of my will power since there are always great snacks/sweets. I am planning to bring some jerky and a cheese stick.

B: Siggi's Mixed Berry Yogurt & Babybel

L: Deli Turkey, Laughing Cow Cheese & Cabot Cheese square

D: Catfish!

S: Premier Protein & Jerky

Sadly the area where I live isn't -that- populated. Southern Maryland is quite a bit different than Northern Maryland! But.. I have a plan of what to investigate next. And I have a lot of studies that I'm going to print out and take when I see my PCP next so I can, hopefully, ease her mind about continuation on Vyvanse.

Where do you live in Sourthern MD? My BFF lives there (Calvert County and before that Charles County). I'm down there at least quarterly. That's why I asked so many questions about your experience with the plastic surgeon. I'd like to see him and stay with her.

That's where she was until recently! She was in Waldorf over by the Dr. Mudd house. Now she's in Prince Frederick!

I'm in Prince Frederick twice a week for college - that's where my Anatomy and Physiology class is.

Small world! Is is Southern College of Maryland? I think that's the one I drive past on my way there. I'm considering going down in April for the kids spring break for a few days but I haven't totally made up my mind yet.

That's the one - it's a nice campus, if teeny :)

Going to visit my Dad today. He's coming up on his final chemo treatment this week for aggressive stage IV bladder cancer before heading to the Mayo Clinic for 6 weeks for proton laser therapy. Praying he's one of the lucky ones who beats this!

B - yogurt and coffee

L - Dad has leftover ribs and beans he's going to share with me

D - leftover chili

S - protein shake
