Whatcha Eating Today VSGers? 3/23/17
I'm up on the scale from Tuesday morning and that's frustrating. I know it's because Tuesday was an "ideal day" (very little eating at the airport the day before). But I have a feeling this might be the first week I don't see any movement or even a tiny gain. Bummer.

I feel ya, Erin. This week has been a slow creep. I cut my weighing down to Monday and Friday a couple weeks ago. Last week, I really upped my exercise. Monday I was down 0.2 from Friday, and a sneak peak today had me down 0.2 from Monday. But I see my sizes dropping so I'm not crying... much.

I start working with a trainer on 3/31. The kind where he/she hangs out with you the whole time and you get the gym to yourself. This is my "taking care of myself" splurge. I had to get a medical release signed and be over 8 weeks out from surgery before they would let me, so I'm just patiently waiting and doing my walking! I have measurements from the last time I was within 10lbs of this size and I was smaller because I was working out. I want to get back there and be strong again!

Must be the week for gains...because I'm up a little, too. For the last 2 days I've gone quite a bit over my calorie goals, and I'm ticked off. I ate good things, high protein, but still too many calories. I'm trying to convince myself it's good to mix it up a bit and the end result will be a good drop...that's my story and I'm stickin' to it!! lol
I am trying a ketogenic diet for a while, thus my recent discussion about keeping my carbs way down. After tons of research yesterday, I've decided to stick with net carbs, so trying to keep them under 20g/day, and my fiber at 8g/day.

I haven't slept well the past few nights..don't know why and I am feeling pretty irritable. Maybe I will take something tonight and head to bed a little earlier and see if it helps. Trying to keep it together for my son's sake..he has ADHD and can really be a handful at times..so mommy has to focus on supporting him.
