Keep an eye on it--your finger might get even smaller! Before surgery, my ring finger was a size 11 and I had to have a ring cut off before surgery. That ring was a size 7 and I'd stubbornly kept it on as I gained weight. I had it repaired and now it's a bit too big.

I'm having a jeweler friend make a new ring out of the diamonds from my engagement ring that is now just way too big.
