Surgery on Wednesday

I'm having my surgery on Wednesday. I can't believe its only two days away! Been such a long process. The liquid shakes I've been on for almost two weeks, have been very challenging. I'm actually looking forward to the clear fluids phase..at least I can have more than one flavour of broth. The chocolate shakes I've been having haven't tasted bad or anything, just sick of them!!

I'm leaving tomorrow to stay over the night before. Hospital is about 1 hour and a half away. Hopefully no more snow. Might be too much to ask for...February was actually quite nice up here in Ontario. Felt like spring a lot, guess March has other ideas.

Anyways, I'm excited to be on the other side of this and start my new journey. I know I haven't posted much on this forum, but I appreciate everyone who has responded, and who have been supportive.

Hi and welcome! I can't wait to see you on the loser's bench! You've done a great job so far on your own!Congrats and remember to take things slow. Sip your water all day and walk as much as you can.

Sipping water is going to be my full time job for awhile. All the inconviences will be so worth it down the road.

I am so very happy for you - way to go on the liquid diet.

I have surgery on April 3rd so I start the liquid diet phase on the 20th.

Can't wait to see your posts on your results - and see you on the loser's bench!!!

The liquid diet has been challenging at times (the mental/emotional side of hunger), and if I can get through it anybody can! lol Got 4 more shakes tomorrow (or I guess today its after midnight) and done!! Can't wait til its all over and I'm back home recovering. I'm so looking forward to soup broth you have no idea.
