Miscommunications

There's gonna be a number of folks who are going to poopoo this. But I have to say due to people misunderstanding and/or miscommunicating, someone I truly enjoyed interacting with left this site yesterday. While I doubt it was anyones intention, feelings were disregarded. None of us like to tip toe, and some have no issue with charging like bulls in china shops. I believe at some time in all our lives, we have been the bullied fat kids. I encourage everyone to be conscious of that when addressing others. Sometimes someone is only looking for a little acknowledgement. It never hurts to be kind. Of course, unless someone uses up your kindness - then bluntly call them out on their **** But otherwise, please be kind.

NOOOOOOO! That's sad. It's hard sometimes because when you don't "hear" the person's voice and the nuances, people take things differently than they would otherwise.

You're correct - all she wanted was a little "that a girl" from the vets. It's not their fault and it's not hers. It's just really sad.

FWIW-- Feelings were ALSO disregarded when the deactivated member tried to take a dig at others' display names.

And mocked someone for their sobriety when they were trying to help others. Not cool!

Yeah, I called her out, along with another person and she blocked us. Not practising that whole accountability thing she was asking for yesterday.

She can edit her posts and block people who call her out, but if she doesn't own what she does, sympathy for her runs a little thin.

It's not hard to exist in harmony on these boards, just be a decent human being, that's it! Talking smack behind a block or in places you think people can't see you is very naive. It usually comes back to haunt you, it's the internet!

Well enough. I never saw her say anything bad about anyone. Only saw her kindness.

I like kindness. I don't like chaos. And drama can get bent.
