Good Morning, Everyone! So much for sleeping in today. The dogs decided they wanted to get up at 6am anyway. Grrr... I go to the gym in an hour. Todays weigh in was ok. I always wish for more, alas... At least it went down!

Yesterday I made a super conscious effort to keep my carbs under 50. I got some carbmaster yogurt I used to use when I originally had my surgery. It's only got 5 carbs per serving. I'll pay the 9 for the Dannon! I am going to try to keep up that effort and see if it helps along my weight loss. I guess I'm not losing too slowly. Can't lie I was hoping to see 195 this morning instead of 197.

Yesterdays #'s: Calories-994, Fat-44.8g, Fiber-1g, Carbs-43.3g, Sodium-1039.9mg, Protein-104g, Water-36.8 fl oz. Daily Calorie Composition: 17% from carbs, 41% from fat and 42% from protein.

AM/B: SF peppermint white mocha + ON white chocolate protein

12 min AMRAP (complete as many reps as possible in 12 mins)

2 rounds:

  • 50 ft walking lunge w/ 2 35 lb dumbells in front rack position (50 lbs for men)
  • 16 toes to bar (hanging from bar, pull toes up to touch bar)
  • 8 power cleans w/ 35 lbs dumbells

2 rounds

  • 50 ft walking lunge w/ 2 35 lb dumbells in front rack position (50 lbs for men)
  • 16 bar muscle ups (hanging from par, pull yourself over bar and push yourself up)
  • 8 power cleans w/ 35 lbs dumbells

Once you complete, go back to the start. Stop at 12 minutes.

I can't do the muscle ups. I'm going to try, but I barely can do a pull up. It is going to be a fun one.

Holy Merdre!!! When you say "in front rack position" you mean curled up to your chest? Or out in front at arms length?

Hanging from a bar and lifting your legs straight over your head to touch your toes is some SERIOUS ab strength!

Front rack is like if you had a bar in front of your body on your shoulders. So with the dumbells it is having them by your shoulders with one end of the dumbell touching your body. Way out front -- 35 lbs wouldn't work for me :)

And yes toes to bar are crazy. It took me 9 months to get one. The 16 will take me some time, but I'm gonna get em!

They opened a Chick-fil-A, Im going to try it tonight.

B spinach, orange pepper, ham and cheese omelet and string cheese

L tuna, baby carrots and raisins

D grilled chicken nuggets

S Greek yogurt, turkey sausage snack sticks and cutie orange

B1 Premier Protein caramel shake

B2 took a spoonful of leftover stir fry meat and veggies chopped it up and added to my soft scrambled egg, yum!

L deli turkey and cheese rolled up with spicy mustard

D cooking for my hubby and son and it's not at all sleeve friendly so I will have either some salmon or a tuna pouch with Greek yogurt

S string cheese and planning for a sugar free popsicle tonight

Vitamins in, water on track.

For exercise I will be walking my path around the farm that DH made for me with the tractor.
