Did anyone NOT vomit?
I've NEVER vomited since surgery (I hate vomiting and almost never have in my life unless I have a severe intestinal illness). I had the foamies once and felt nauseous once or twice in the first few months when I ate one bite too much (taught me to measure carefully). That's it in over 11 months since surgery.

I had a couple bouts of nausea immediately post op but they passed quickly and at over 8 months out, I have never vomited.

I had nausea, but the first time I actually threw up was after Thanksgiving, and my surgery was in August. I still don't know what exactly triggered it. I'd been very careful to not eat too much, chew everything very thoroughly, and hadn't eaten anything that seemed really "out there". But something tripped my trigger, so to speak. I started feeling like food poisoning coming on at my family gathering, and got hubby to drive me home quickly. Got home, and had the pleasure of being bathroom-bound for about 45 minutes, dumping in every way. Ugh.
I threw up once more about 2 months ago, but it's unclear if that was a migraine or a stomach bug, or something sleeve related. I had a lot of physical things going on that weren't really sleeve related, so I'm not inclined to blame the sleeve on that one.
I've had a handful of other incidents where I ate too fast or too much, and really thought I was going to throw up, but getting up and walking around (generally to find something to throw up into) settled it enough that I didn't actually throw up.
I HATE throwing up with a passion. Don't know why, but I've always been this way. Even when I have a stomach bug I will fight it until I have no choice. Even when I know I'll feel better once I do it, I just can't stand it. I don't know if that factors into why I haven't had much issue with it post-op, or it's more that I do try to follow the advice to eat slow and not too much. Or if I'm just lucky. Whatever the reason, I'll take it.
So yeah, not everyone gets the pukies. Take it as a gift. :D
