Two days out from surgery

I had surgery on Monday and I got back home today. I did have one complication during surgery where my stomach got nicked in the wrong place, but that was repaired. I'm feeling fine for the most part. Where the stomach was taken out is the part that hurts the most, but it's tolerable. I thankfully have not thrown up and I hope that I don't. The nurses took really good care of me and when I woke up last night feeling really nauseated, they quickly gave me an anti-nausea pill before anything happened.  I'm still finding it hard to believe that the surgery is done now. The first night I kept thinking, "what have I done?" because I was so uncomfortable, but it's gotten better. I'm ready for the next steps!

My first couple of days were rough, and I went through the same emotions. Today I'm just three weeks out and very happy. Just wait to watch that scale going down! Congratulations!!

Congrats!  You've already done so well pre-surgery, you're gonna be AMAZED as you watch the change!

Those first few weeks were torture for me. I remember crying in the hospital begging to go back in time and fix things "properly". Now 8 months later it's just like...ok I did this...what's next lol

8 months? I hope I start seeing results soon. I'm 5 days post-op and feels like the scale is stuck at 305, I went in at 319. What can I do?

Stop looking at the scale and just let things happen naturally. It comes off eventually. Stressing over the number isn't a thing you should be doing anymore.
