Mind Boggling NSVs
Hi Kathy,
First of all......I too noticed the new photo.....fantastic!!!
As to your mind boggling NSVs........BRAVO to you and to all of us who fully understand and can revel in your joy!! Isn't it fabulous?
I went into a store over the weekend and saw a really cute shirt.....my OLD mind said...."maybe I should buy a men's size xxl so it will fit because they only go up to xl in women's sizes - no way that will fit around me!"......then my new mind said...."wait a second, you've lost a lot of weight and don't need to go there anymore!!!!" So, I took a chance and pulled out an XL.....looked at it and thought, "Okay it looks a little smaller than might work, but in 5 pounds for sure it will be good." I didn't have time to try it on in the store, so when I got home I pulled it out of the bag and tried it on...........holy smokes, not only does it fit, it's roomy!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm so happy also that your sisters are so supportive......it makes so much difference when you have that support from those around you.'
Keep up the good work, you are doing amazingly well and I know how happy you are.
Good friends are like stars.
You don't always see them but you always know they're there.
Love this! I have been wearing a 32 for too long. They were already getting loose during preop weight loss, but now 2 months out from surgery, they are very baggy. I had a pair of secondhand denim Capris in a size 26 and tried them on the other day and was so excited I was dancing around the house in them. They are slightly snug but comfy enough to wear and I have been wearing them proudly!! You are doing a great job, congrats on your NSVs!
