Hi Nura.   I was banded, I have no regrets...All any of us has is today, I had no comorbifs, 5'4, WT 213.   I was so tired of the up and down weight, I put it in God's hands and took the leap, I've had a few random gas pains, but nice to feel full.

You did write that your docor did advise you to increase ppi I hope that is helping.    I'm no genius, but I am a BSN,. I'd guess anxiety is overwhelming you.   I am a high anxiety person, what works for me is walking, put my tunes on and just love it!

I wish you the best Pat. But dear god you didn't need this!

I can't help but feel that everyone on this site is as broken as I am.

I am done.

If you hate yourself, no surgery will cure it - you're right.  Being skinny won't cure it.  Being happy won't cure it, either.  Only hard work, introspection, and a change in attitude will fix the core problem that causes it, whatever that might be.

I hope that you are able to care about yourself one day, Nura, and that you are able to look on things with joy and kindness instead of negativity.  It can be a long journey, but I know from experience it is worthwhile.

Good luck.

I follow a ketogenic diet post-op. I also have a diagnosis of binge eating disorder. Feel free to ask me about either!
