Hello everyone,

I had my surgery yesterday about 7:30 a.m. Last night was a long night with a lot of check ups and feeling very groggy.  They have just taken me off my IV meds and I am starting oral pain meds and trying to drink protein and water. I am amazed at how different it feels so just take even a tiny sip of water. I can't wait till I start feeling a little bit better. Thank you everyone for the support this far.

Congrats, Rachel!  You will start to feel a lot better in the next few days and especially once you get home!  Take care, walk a lot to get rid of the gas pains and welcome to the losers bench~   :)

Congratulations! I had mine done on 1/23. I think the first week or so is the hardest. Now, remember, you're probably going to weigh more after you get home. All the IV fluids etc. I would recommend not stepping on the scale until day 4 or so. It takes a while for everything to adjust. Don't panic (I did a bit and I knew better lol).

Take it slow and easy. Walk and sip. You'll be fine. My first week went by soooo fast.
