I remember my first meal, which was also eggs. I skipped the hot sauce for a little longer, but I am eating stuff right now that could light up a dark room. Congratulations on progress!

Thanks! Did you manage to eat all of your first meal? I wasn't sure if I would be able to, but I ate pretty much all of it. I guess a single egg isn't much to get down, but it was nice to eat.

I did, and I ate TWO eggs! My CRNP was a little surprised at that when I mentioned it, but I assured her I went real slow. It took me about half an hour to eat them. Even now, I will take it slow if I am not sure how something is going to go, and at the first sign of being full, I stop and wait about five more minutes before the next bite. This is especially helpful if I am out at a restaurant and can't measure stuff.
I am four months out now, and breakfast is often two eggs prepared in various ways along with 1 oz of cheese.
I remember how good that first chew felt lol..mine was tuna mixed with a dab of Greek yogurt for moisture..soo good! The next morning I tried a soft scrambled egg and it was great too and I ate about 3/4 of it. Now 7 weeks out I can finish 1 egg.
Mine was a scrambled egg and I ate the whole thing. Six hours later I decided to eat another one. Felt full quickly but kept eating it. Then I spit it up. So don't forget that sleeve is fickle and sometimes won't let you eat what you ate yesterday. Another good thing is to heat chicken broth and make a little egg drop soup in it. Nothing but a stirred up egg and whatever seasoning. A winter comfort food. Diane S.
