NSV
A great NSV today! Went to lunch with my sister and a friend at Olive Garden. I was able to sit in a booth!!! That's the first time in over 20 years...I am so excited. I used to avoid places with only booths and always felt bad that the rest of my party wanted to sit in a booth but we had to sit at tables because of me. Never at a table again, I love booths!!
P.S. Had the Chicken Margherita (lunch portion). Was able to eat half with a little salad. Yummy! Had the rest for dinner.
That's awesome, Cathy! I remember the first time I fit in this chair in my home office without the arm rests digging into my thighs. It's an awesome feeling to be able to fit in chairs and seats like in the movie theater or at concerts. People who never were obese don't realize the limitations. I remember the worst were patio chairs like if we were sitting outside at a restaurant or on someone's deck. Those chairs were usually tiny and pretty flimsy and I have had to move to the inside seats many times when having coffee or eating with friends outside. :-(
It feels so good to be "normal". Congrats on your NSV!!

What a freeing, happy, feeling, Cathy! It is a major social feat, so much less anxiety. Happy for you!
the booth thing is a huge NSV!!

That is a super NSV.
I remember when I had my booth break-thru. Now I sit in them all the time if given a choice. They seem to be more private and more comfortable.
Well done !!!
