I've got a lot to do today but nothing with a specific time so I treated myself to no alarm clock.  How lovely! Now I'm working on hydrating before I head out to run as many of my planned 11 miles as possible.  I can't believe my race is in 6 weeks.  GULP.

1: protein bar pre-run (I don't normally fuel pre-run, but I'll be out for three hours with today's run, so it's different.)
2: Clif Bloks during run (Again, for short runs I don't ever fuel, but this is three hours.  I eat one Blok every 2.2 miles, so I'll eat 4 of them during today's run.)
3: protein shake after I stretch (Finally I'm at "normal" eating for the day.)
4: deli meat - this is the last of it!  Yay!  I made filet mignon steaks this week, so the rest of my family has been captivated by those instead of helping me with the meat.  Jerks.
5: Steakhouse style grilled marinated flank steak, Cheesy hassleback potato gratin (for the guys)

liquid and vites: on track
exercise: all the running, yoga for stretching

How about you?

Good morning and happy Saturday.

Gwen, You are amazing with all you do.  I'm so impressed with your commitment to your health and your life and your community.  well Done!

I'm back on track, sort of.  I had extra almonds yesterday, but I avoided the carbs.

breakfast - ran out of salmon - so chicken caccatiatore

lunch - salmon

dinner - eating out at a friends - so little control - I suspect it will be hard on the diet, as my mood is so poor, and my will-power is down.

best wishes,
Carol

Yesterday I went to POODOO after I picked up the baby.  I was so ecstatic, and tired, I went to Starbucks and got an over caloried white mocha and a cranberry orange scone.  I paid for it.  My gut wanted to blow up last night (and practically did).  Today it is getting back to normal.  Mom suggested maybe it might kick my weight loss back into free-fall.  I'll pray.  Back on track today.

AM/B: cafe w/white mocha & 1% milk (didn't have a scale to measure)

S: Red Grapefruit

I ran 11 miles and now I plan on dying.  There's no way I'll be eating lunch.  And dinner might be switched to grilled skirt steak and roasted potatoes from the fancy preparations I've listed above :P

My WLS was on 10/25 and last time I weight myself I had lost 43 pounds.

I have lost all interested in food. It's been about a week now and  I am forcing my self to get in the protein and water. Going to have a container of yogurt with 10grams of added unflavored protein and a splash of vanilla. Hopefully I will fell more creative tomorrow!
