30 lbs down and I cleaned up dog poop

Four weeks post yesterday and I'm down 30 lbs. vs. preop. Yay! This is the same 30 lbs I've lost 8 or 9 other times but I hope this time they're gone for good. My small nsv: I got down on the floor to clean up dog poop. Not fun but it was much easier. I always dread getting down on the floor. I have a long way to go but today I'm feeling hopeful that I can get there.

Still a good NSV!  Isn't it great to feel this is the last time you'll see this weight?  I always used to save my "fat" clothes when I dieted.  Not this time!  I think it helps in making the mental commitment needed to partner with the physical one already made (WLS).

Thanks. Sadly my fat clothes are the size I'm in now. I can't wait to get rid of my fat pants.

Strangely, I stayed in the same size for about 60-70 pounds of loss (maybe because they were stretchy?).  Once you start losing sizes, you lose them fast and it can be tough having clothes that fit.  Lots of us use online or regular consignment/used clothing stores to get through the size drops.

This is so true! I spent months in the same size, and had lost 70 pounds ish. And then bam! Nothing fit.

Me too! I thought dang I really must have been pushing the limit on these clothes haha. They were all very stretched out. So stretched out I couldn't donate them I had to toss them.

What a hoot! I did, too! I lost over 60 pounds and lost only 1 size in jeans. However, the last 40+ I lost a size for every 10 pounds. It was wild. I "knew" I would never get below a waist of 34, then I was a 33, then 32, then 31 and finally a 30! It was a truly a delightfully wild ride those last 4 months.

As fat as I got, I never had a problem getting down on the floor.  Getting back up?  That's a different story.    Congratulations!  It sounds like a great start, and increased mobility is always a good thing.

I love this NSV!!  Perfectly illustrates how every aspect of our lives can be improved-even the pooper scoopering.
