Problems "going" too much
Sorry to bring up an indelicate / gross topic but I don't know if this is cause for concern. I just had my sleeve on 1/12/17 and I am on mushy protein. I have been sticking to the program, basically eggs, tuna, cottage cheese, some shredded chicken and drinking my liquids and my protein drink. For the last few days it seems like nothing stays with me more than half of a day give or take. Right after I had difficulty going but now seem to have the opposite problem. Is this normal?

The difference between who you are and who you want to be is what you do!
It's pretty normal to be "liquids in, liquids out" during the liquid phase, but things should start to firm up as you progress to solid foods.

I had diarrhea for more than two years after my surgery. I finally started taking a probiotic and that helped tremendously. It was horrible.
I quickly learned to never trust a fart.

IMO - it is not normal . You may have developed dairy sensitivity - lactose Intolerance. Even with whey isolate - some people can get very sensitive to whey or other protein shakes. Or artificial sweeteners and flavors.
It is not normal.

What protein drink are you using? I was having issues that my protein drink made it even worse. My doctor told me to switch to a non-dairy protein drink like Muscle Milk 32. It cleared up. Then as others mentioned I moved to the solid protein stage and it got worse the other way,
One think I have found that helps me to stay more regular is to rotate a dairy protein such as Premiere and the non-dairy protein drink.
Hope you feel better soon!

Never waste a second chance!!
Early on (like you are now) I also had frequent diarrhea. But it was a temporary problem that sorted itself out quickly -- without me doing anything to fix it.
In my case it seemed to be correlated with drinking a protein drink pretty fast.
But once I started eating more solid foods the problem gradually went away.
Then, of course, I was constipated for a while.
But after I was able to eat more veggies and high-fibrous foods AND added a probiotic to my daily supplement regimen, the constipation settled out, too.
A lot of these things that happen to us post-op are just short-term responses to strange ways we're eating (or not eating) at the time.
So, yes, IMO, it's normal. ;)
