I make chia pudding out of mine, love it!   Here is a great recipe along with a few others to try.

There is no flavor to the chia seeds themselves.  They just add fiber and a natural thickening agent to whatever liquid you add them to.   I have made many different chia seed puddings using RTD Protein Shakes when I have been out of regular SF pudding.   It does take longer to set, but worth it to me

thanks....good to know....will have to try it......and if I don't like it, maybe I can spread the seeds out on a planter and make my own version of a chia pet.............only kidding, but it sounds funny, doesn't it?

Personally, I think all RTD protein drinks are gross.  I much prefer using unflavored protein powder and making my own with milk (almond milk in my case), then adding whatever flavorings I want.  So much tastier that way, plus I add it to beef or chicken broth, too.  Love it that way (when I was using it, anyway--now getting my protein from solid food!)

I agree with Cathy H. about finding all RTDs gross, but, I admit, I haven't tried every single one out there ;)  I do unsweetened almond milk with optimum nutrition double rich chocolate.  I find it to be a darker chocolate than most, so it's not as sweet.  Yum.  Drinking my breakfast shake right now!

I didn't use the RTD ones as my protein shakes. However, once I started drinking coffee again - I use the vanilla and the caramel premier as my coffee "creamer". Works great for that!
