Whatcha eating today? Wednesday, 1/18/2017
Three classes left for my soul-sucking class! Yesterday my prof said that no one would need WLS if all hospitals required a year of monitored exercise/eating. Awesome.
1: protein shake
2: I need to be out for a while, so I'm leaning toward a salad from Panera
3: slow cooker hawaiian chicken (I heated up white chicken chili in the slow cooker last night instead of making this.)
liquid and vites: on track
exercise: yoga!
How about you on this fine Thursday?

So, on top of crazy life, I decided to get back into a 10 day cleanse using Advocare. They have a full "24 day challenge" which I have done and it works but, it was eating toooo much for being a WLS patient - I was losing weight fine, but I didn't like the amount of food/meals that were required. The cleanse is what I will stick with (10 days and you can only do it ever 90 days), plus the extra supplements were 1. expensive as ever, and 2, made me crazy (some have caffeine and it was just not smart). Thus far since Monday I have lost a few lbs. The only things I take are a fiber drink (does not make you potty!), and some morning and night vitamins. I am eating the same as I would for being a WLS patient. The struggle - no dairy! Its supposed to be a cleanse and its only 10 days to rid the toxins. Works for me.
B 1/2 shake, 3 sausage links
L tuna salad on cucumbers, less than 1/4 cup of lentil soup
D The bf wants ihop, so I will search the menu (any suggestions!? no dairy or bad carbs obviously) We are going to discuss the budget I came up with and the potential place we are praying we get
Snacks if needed ( I usually just have an afternoon snack) either nuts and berries, or hummus and celery.
Liquids on track!
Avoid the omelets because they use pancake batter in their omelet mix.
I'd opt for fried eggs and bacon.

I think they have a Cobb salad that you could get the cheese or dairy left off of. It also looks like you can add avocado too. That would probably be my option if I couldn't do dairy. Enjoy and good luck with the house!!
Gwen - you are a day ahead :) We are on Wednesday. I'm in a fantastic mood today. I gotta say I am a crazy when it comes to crossfit. I read the workout I'm doing tonight and just got super excited. I know there is this cultish stereotype -- well I have drunk the koolaid and it is sweet! Come join the fitness happiness - these are some good drugs (endorphins).
I'm in an 8am - 3pm leadership team meeting, so hunkered down most of the day then get to try to fit my work into a couple of hours -- then I'm going to the gym for snatches, dealifts and bar facing burpees :)
B - fit frappe & coffee - I might snag some bacon and eggs at the meeting
S - there are kind bars on our table in the meeting so I think one of those will find its way in
L - catered - not sure
S - coffee / protein shake
D - stuffed mushrooms
S - cottage cheese & berries
E - best time of the day - snatch complex X 5 + 21-15-9-15-21 deadlift (155) + bar facing burpees + accessory work
Happy Wednesday :)
Oops. I'm clearly trying to fast forward the days to be finished with this class sooner.
