I was sleeved 2011 I may have developed a leak in 2017
My first several years after surgery went without a hitch.
I noticed my ability to eat more grew with time. Still never to the point of prior to surgery. I have kept between 100 and 150 off without any dieting or major complications till today.
At 3am this morning I awoke with severe pain in my left rear shoulder- it has been growing all day.
I am going to the dr at 4pm and see what they say. But I am hoping this is not related to my VSG but it meets some of the symptons. I am hoping this is just an overeaction on my part and that its just a unrelated muscle pain or something.
Very glad you are going in. Heart attack and gallbladder pain is what pops into my head when I read that. I am so glad that your post included that you were seeing your doc at 4. Hope everything is Ok.

Thinking of you and hoping all went well at your doctor appointment.
I hope everything is ok. I have no idea why you would would make a leap and think this is a leak, though. The chances of a lwak at 6 years are worse than winning Powerball.

Hope you are soon feeling better - glad you are seeing the doc asap! I'm no doctor (tho I did dissect a human cadaver in pre-med anatomy class, LOL!), but felt I should point out that the left rear shoulder is a llloonnngg way away from the stomach. Like: lungs, heart, liver, diaphragm, ribs, spine, and a lot of muscles distance away. Muscle problem, heart problem, pulmonary embolism, pinched nerve... I would think any of these would be more likely than a leak, with the location/symptoms you describe. Good luck, and keep us posted!
I've been fat, and I've been thin - and thin is better.
