When I reached the 100 pound mark, I remodeled my closet. I guess that was somewhat symbolic. I ripped out all the shelves, closet rods, everything. I painted it and installed a closet system. Then I was ready to get rid of all my old clothes that no longer fit (I had not gotten rid of any clothes up until then). They were definitely NOT going into my nice new fancy closet

Funny, I don't feel a need for rewards these days, as I did for all those years I was "dieting".
Just feeling better - finding my bones again, and my waist - is reward enough. It's also a great feeling to throw out or donate another batch of those baggy fat clothes, knowing I will NEVER need them again... and then to try on clothes in my closet I haven't been able to wear in years. Okay, some of them are so far out of fashion/style that I can't wear them even tho I fit into them (think: giant shoulder pads!), but having always gone for classic over fad, it's surprising how much of my stash is still looking pretty good! :)

I've been fat, and I've been thin - and thin is better.

yep manicure and pedicure are good. so is massage, facial or new haircut. Clothes, of course. But consider a new piece of artwork, something you have been wanting for your home like the instant pot. Also expensive seafood which is delicious and high protein/low calorie. Its crab season where we live and OMG is it good. no butter or anything needed. Ditto salmon. Mainly, just enjoy life. Diane .s
