If you are losing hair every time you wash, the only thing you can do is stop washing.

Seriously, there is nothing you can do. As Valerie said, it's from the anesthesia. Try a different style, maybe. But it will grow back.

The belly button isn't a major issue since the problem is external, not internal. Others gave you good advice about drying it out, and documenting it for future use.

Hello ....

Definitely sounds like yeast infection..

I don't believe it is an incision infection this long after surgery.

(Infection is generally accompanied by redness, swelling and pain)

Stop using the Neosporin. You need to get in there and clean it well while in the shower. Wet Q tips are perfect. Keep cleaning until they come back clean. Rinse well with lots of water.

Everyone has given great advice how to dry it and keep it dry.

The only thing that I would recommend is to stop wet antifungal creams (they often make it more moist) and switch to a dry antifungal powder. (Clotrimazole)

Ie. Tinactin (sold @ Walmart)

Zeasorb antifungal powder

Powder will keep it dry & treat the yeast infection...

Hope this helps!

Good luck & congratulations on the weight loss!
