VSG Surgery this week! Any advice?

Thank you all for the much needed advice and encouragement. I had my surgery done on Thursday afternoon and it was successful, "a good sleeve" my surgeon remarked. I'm still in the hospital tonight, Christmas Eve, because my blood pressure has been wonky. I've struggled to tolerate the liquid Tylenol pain medication, too. The cherry flavour really doesn't sit well. 

I was relieved to begin drinking protein, and the coating effect seems much more soothing than just drinking water.

Being discharged and going home Christmas morning will be a wonderful gift!

Hi there, I am from Hamilton, Ontario as well. Just wondering if you paid out of pocket for your vsg or if you had complications that led the surgeon to switch from rny. Thanks!
