The Body BLade

Has anyone ever used it? As many of us have done.....I purchased yet another piece of exercise equipment with the notion of.....THIS one I'll be sure to use!  Well, it's collecting dust....like so many of the others over the years.....at least the treadmill (the one that's gone) had a use in that it kept a really nice crease in my wool slacks when I hung them over the handle bars. At least the Body Blade wasn't all that expensive and also doesn't take up a lot of room.

I tried using it and then got lazy, but I really need to do something ... I am not a gym person and although I like walking the mall, there is no way I'm going there for the next three weeks or more.......I'm crazy, not stupid (one of my favorite expressions) and the parking there is insane right now.

Thanks!

I've used it at physical therapy to build shoulder strength.  It was fun, but I don't think I'd want one of my own.

Last year I got a Bosu for the holidays.  I haven't used it as often as I should!

Thanks Gwen. I looked up the Bosu....there were two different ones that I saw....one was the ball and the other was a thing that apparently you stand on. Which do you use and what do you think about it?

I've done the same in the past, lots of unused equipment resold on craigslist :) Nowadays though I do fitness videos that are On Demand; I pick a different one each day so I don't get bored. I also hook up with a coupla different Meetup groups, I find that commiting to a Meetup activity and making new friends has kept me more accountable and engaged. I've done all sorts of  new things -orienteering, snowshoeing, backpacking, crossfit in the park. Hope this helps!

It works if you work it; it sorta works if you sorta work it; and it doesn't work if you don't work it.

Wow......you are busy with all sorts of good stuff! I'll have to look into meet-up groups.....hate to admit it, but I never thought of that...also never realized that On Demand has exercise stuff.....going to check that out tonight.

Thanks!!
