It's very icy and dangerous here this morning.  I had plans to go to a SkyFitness class at the new local SkyZone, but opted to stay home as people are being urged not to drive.  Sigh.  It is supposed to warm up later, so I hope I'll be able to get out to run at some point.. we'll see.

1: protein shake
2: leftover bonchon chicken tenders
3: if I run - chipotle bowl, if I don't run - frittata.

liquid and vites: on track
exercise: running, yoga for stretching

How about you?

Woke up with a major headache this morning..thinking it's the anesthesia still wearing off. And my throat is still scratchy from the breathing tube..but it gets a little better each day.

B1: decaf coffee with caramel premier protein as creamer

B2: finish off the protein shake

L: Unjury chicken soup (tummy seems to like this)

D: not sure yet, thinking some SF jello with protein powder added or maybe just another shake depends on how I feel later after a walk.

Vitamins not yet. Other liquids, currently sipping some crystal light.

The weather outside is frightful here in New England.  I'm glad I can hunker down and do my home projects, and I don't have to deal with the weather.

Weight is still hanging at 167 - about 5 pounds higher than I like.  I am eating carefully, but I can't seem to lose the excess weight.  I may have to cut my calories even more, but it does not please me.  Sigh.

breakfast - salmon

lunch - chicken in thai peanut sauce - yum

dinner - chicken and broccoli casserole - also yum.

I hope you are all safe and warm, especially if you are dealing with this winter storm.

best wishes

Carol

The weather is really unfit for going outside today......snow (not the real problem) and ice (THAT'S the real problem) and bone chilling cold.

I made a scrambled egg for breakfast and normally I have no problem with eggs, but today it did not want to go down at all.....took a few bites but it was a no go, so the garbage disposal in my kitchen sink ate the remainder.......I miss my dogs....they would have happily taken care of the leftovers ....but I miss the dogs for more important reasons.....one of my dogs always knew when my feet were cold and she'd lay on them til they got warm.

I've stuck to liquids today and haven't been able to get even a protein shake down so far......I have no idea why I'm having this problem today as this is the first time since my surgery in June. I feel fine otherwise, so I figure it's just a passing thing. I'm going to go slow for the rest of the day and work on a protein shake for dinner and maybe another later on.....I'm a nightowl, so having a "second" dinner around 9 won't be a problem.

so, liquids I'm at about 40+ oz as of 5PM and vitamin patches are on.

I'm going to try one of my yoga tapes and may even pull out the Body Blade to see if I can do that. I bought it but haven't actually used it.

Tomorrow morning I'm meeting my son and his fiancé for brunch so I think I'll look at something other than eggs.
