Busy day here for me!  I'm taking the car to get new tires and then it's back home to run (it's 26 feels like 18 at the moment, hopefully it'll warm up), then it's chores around the house, reading FOR FUN, and in the evening I'm going to a Bystander Intervention Workshop.  Fun times!

1: protein shake
2: leftover meatballs
3: out somewhere before the workshop.  We haven't picked a place yet, so I don't know what the options will be for food!

liquid and vites: on track
exercise: hopefully running followed by post-run yoga stretching.

How about you?

Hi Everyone.

Who would guess I'd gain 4 pounds from eating a few cookies.  Sigh.  I'm almost out of food, so I'm cooking today:  Salmon, a crock pot dish - chicken in thai peanut sauce,  and chicken and broccoli casserole.  Tomorrow I'll make crack slaw and cheeseburger casserole.  I love my recipes.

Breakfast - salmon

lunch - chicken with Dijon and lime

dinner - chicken and broccoli casserole

Have a good Thursday, everyone.

Carol

Gwen, you are one busy woman!  I've been working from home since the middle of October, and I finally got a bee up my bum to clean (I'm a bit of an Oscar Madison).  I decided to get rid of the bachelor furniture I've gathered through the years and have a nice adult space in my combination dining/living/kitchen.  So, I've had my own little busy-ness with putting together 55lb end tables, unrolling 100lb rugs, and last night putting together standing lamps that had to have had 30 and 50lb bases.  I tell my trainer I'm getting extra work outs at home!!!

My only complaint is that the scale is barely moving this week....  But I'll just keep doing what I've been doing and it will catch up.

AM: Coffee (50g 5 Sparrows SF white mocha, 50g Torani SF Peppermint syrup, 90g 1% milk) + ON white chocolate protein

B: red grapefruit

L: L&F Greek Yogurt

D: 98g Boneless/Skinless Chicken thigh

S: Peanut Butter Creme Protein Bar

Water & Vites on track

Busy bee! I lost again today, so these last 1.5 weeks (with ups and downs) I am down to 218.8! Its such great motivation to see the scale move. Slowly but its moving.

B shake

S if needed 1.5 tbsp hummus w/ 1.5 celery sticks

L un-froze some zucchini parm I made a while back to make room in the freezer for Christmas eve/ Christmas leftovers, hard boiled egg, cold cuts.

S if needed (since I am eating dinner later) 1/2 greek yogurt with berries

D trying a new recipe! It's sun dried tomatoes, chicken, in a lite cream sauce with zoodles! Adding artichokes in it just because.

Liquids are slow today. About to get on it!

E: I'm very sore today -- going to try and walk around lunchtime

Medicine/Vitamins: Forgot B1/B12 this morning -- will take them after I go back home.

I mentioned that I'm very sore, but I'm also very excited about my walking (and my knee) -- I've been able to get out for 1.3-2.0 miles the past few days and maintain a pace of 3.4 - 3.5 MPH.

Hi everyone!  I just joined today and looking forward to great support and advice from all you "sleeve veterans".  :)  I made the mistake of weighing the 2nd time in a 4 day period and suffered the disappointment of seeing a 2lb gain.  Is this normal in the first 16 days since surgery?  I ate oatmeal yesterday and wondering if that and skim milk (1/2 cup) did me in with carb count?

Anyway, menu today looks like:

B: 1/3 cup 1% cottage cheese  and 1/4 cup fresh blueberries sprinkled in

L: Simple turkey chili

S: Kraft low-fat twist string cheese

D: 1/2 cup ricotta bake with 1 oz shredded chicken breast

Hope you all have a great day!
