All of my grades for the term have posted and I'm happy to share that I'm still rocking straight As.  Considering how college went for me the first time around when I was a kid, my success this time around still astounds me!  13 more credits to go for my AA!  And then a billion after that for my BSes.  :P  But I'm getting closer :D

1: protein shake
2: protein bar?  (I think I'll be out from 7:30 until 4, so unless I have time to get something better while out, a bar it will be.)
3: mahogany meatballs, rice for the guys

liquid and vites: on track
exercise: pilates class, yoga class (first yoga class since September when the term started, I'm excited!)

How about you?  What's going on today in your life?  What's your good news?

Good work, Gwen.  Its amazing how age gives us a different perspective on Learning.  It becomes a privilege rather than a chore!  Great job on your studies - congratulations.

Yesterday was not a good day for me.  Why do people give us gifts of food?  I wasn't even going to open it, and my daughter opened it, and there were these cookies with chocolate and pecans and nougat.  Well, they are in my tummy now...

This makes it even more clear - I'm managing the obesity - its never gone...

I gave the rest of the sweet treats away, and I'm back on track today.

I have to shop for food and cook.  I'm low on good healthy foods, so I'm at risk.

Breakfast - Chicken with Dijon and lime

Lunch - green bean and ham casserole

dinner - either more green bean and ham casserole, or something I cook today.

snack - the almonds are working well as a snack.  I'm not tempted to over-eat them, as they are not my favorite.

I hope you are all enjoying the holiday season and staying away from those tempting treats.

We battle the addiction to foods. Bad foods that taste so good. I am happy you are back on track today. The holidays are a funny time. People say 'ill get back to eating healthy come new year'. I ask why? The 'holiays' are technically 3-4 days depending. Thanksgiving is ONE day. Christmas Eve is ONE day ****lebrate it huge in my family), Christmas Day is ONE Day. Then NYE. Sooo what about the days between the holidays? Why purge and gain even more weight to work on losing come the new year?

Food is huge in my family for holidays. I am plotting to make healthy alternatives for myself - and share with others during Christmas Eve. That way - I wont feel obligated to 'just have one bite' of EVERYTHING.

Yay for the grades! Keep it up. In no time you will be done.

Yesterday was fantastic food wise. (and i lost lbs!) I am patting myself on the shoulder. Why? Because at lunch my boss ordered Afgan food. I love it. Rice filled with spices, carrots, raisins, (I get lamb) but any kind of meat. Like gyro type of food. I ate my lunch that I brought in. Drooled over the smell, but didn't even have a spoonful. After job2 I went to the mall. Met my bf in the food court. I wanted Wendy's. I am dying for Qdoba. I didn't give in. At dinner time I had my 1 cold cut roll up, and my half a yogurt with berries. After leaving the mall I plotted in my brain what I'd order at Wendy's. I drove passed it with out looking! I wanted chicken nuggets, and a chicken sandwich with small fry. I just ignored it. I went home and had a few chunks of cheese, with 2 slices of salami. Boom.

B 1/2 shake in decaf coffee

S (if needed) berries w/ 1/4c mixed nuts - but I am trying to just drink drink drink to avoid eating snacks

L cold cuts & hard boiled egg

S (if needed) cheese chunks

on the way to job2 ill have the other 1/2 shake in coffee to hold me over so I can eat dinner later than 5

D 1 cold cut rollup, 1/2 yogurt w/ berries.

Liquids on track!

Exercise, I MIGHT have time after my 11 hour work day, and another mall trip, for T25. I hope.

Life is good -- I'm getting a little nervous for my hubby next week.  I know the surgery is such a great tool, but there are risks of complications.  His uncle passed away shortly after weight loss surgery years ago -- he was over 600 lbs, so much much higher risk.  Because of that he is refusing to tell his family.  He also doesn't want me to tell my family.  I'm respecting it, but it is stressful for me and I don't have anyone but him to talk about it with.  I don't want to stress him out any further.  Ramble ramble.

My job is great - I'm very lucky to now finally after a couple of rough jobs to work at a place where people are nice and respect each other.  You can't take these things for granted anymore unfortunately.

Today:

B - chike & coffee

L - leftover thai chicken & veg & pot sticker

S - latte & protein shake

D - leftover pork chops & brussel sprouts

S - prob something else - hungry today

E - 7X snatch complete, 10 rounds for time 5 DL (150) + 15 wall balls (going to be a tough one!)
