Keto diet after vsg

I usually eat 800 calories or less a day and no carbs. I'm not strict but I definitely control my calories. Get the my fitness pal app and track everything. I over estimate calories to be safe. My Nut told me I could have 1100 calories a day and that slows us way down or puts us in maintenance.

I'd keep calories under 800 as well. Most of that should be protein.

6'3" tall, male.

Highest weight was 475. RNY on 08/21/12. Current weight: 198.

M1 -24; M2 -21; M3 -19; M4 -21; M5 -13; M6 -21; M7 -10; M8 -16; M9 -10; M10 -8; M11 -6; M12 -5.

That's a really good amount of weight loss so far! I think you're doing a great job!

Seeing a therapist who deals with bariatric patients and understands the before and after lifestyle and challenges will definitely help. I hope your surgeon can give you a good recommendation.  And even just hanging out here and on other forums are a great means of support.  I read forums daily and have ever since the day I decided to start checking into what this surgery was all about. I don't post usually, but I read everything and it has helped me through it all. :)

I did a keto style diet a few years back.  Post-surgery I now only eat lean proteins and cheese and find that I am full for a long time.  My surgeon was super strict as far as eating plans for post-surgery and I've stuck to it to the letter because I know one bite of carbs, sugar, etc would be a slippery slope for me.  I don't count my calories but know that they are on the low side - probably only 500-600, but this early out I can't really eat very much at all.

I eat string cheese, beef jerky, carrots  fruit and pork rinds when I am craving chips. I also eat almonds.

I would drop the carrots and fruit. They are pure sugar. 

I ate only protein and low carb vegetables until I lost all the weight I wanted to lose. 

Also pork rinds can't be counted towards protein total as they are collagen protein.

Good morning, thank you for the info, if  you have time could you give me an example of 1 breakfast, lunch, and dinner to eat for weight loss success. Which veggies are low carb? Thank you for your help and your time.
