Today is a running day for me but my body said, "don't run, take a pain killer instead."  So I did that.  I ache all over from my wall climbing adventures!  It's awesome.  Except for the missing my run part.  If I feel better, and have time, later, I'll try to run before I go to class.

1: protein shake
2: leftovers of some sort, no idea what's in the fridge that's proteiny right now
3: more leftovers or a quest bar, depending on when/where I need to eat

liquid and vites: on track
exercise: rest and painkiller day!

How about you?

It's a rainy day in Jersey. It's only an 11 hour day. I ate so well yesterday. Let's hope I keep it this way.

B hard boiled egg, 1/2 Greek yogurt with 3 strawberries

L cold cut roll up lettuce sandwich

S half a shake / 1/2 yogurt left over.

D making breakfast for dinner, eggs with veggies and cheese, and maybe a sausage link.

So hard to not munch when I normally would, I feel starving but im not. I am drinking my liquids like crazy. I just want to get to wonderland first. 23 lbs to go.

Thank you. It's hard but it's fine. It's difficult when you are a food addict. The fact that my small stomach can tolerate any and all foods is a good but bad thing. Because I can eat it. I am telling myself " I cant have that" again. It works. I wanted a sandwich last night but "I cant have that" (cause we cant have bread!) and my lettuce as bread was just dandy. One day at a time.

I find that I substitute healthy, good tasting low carb foods for the forbidden high-calorie and high-carb foods.  So I'll tell myself, "you cannot have that pizza but you can have that pizza casserole."  or "You cannot have that cheesecake, but you can have some buffalo chicken when you get home."

I need to have healthy alternatives to the forbidden foods, or it would be difficult to stay strong.  You did great substituting a lettuce wrap for a sandwich.  Great strategy.

I have been getting better at that. Last night my boyfriend had ice cream. We bought it over the weekend, but I bought a small non dairy one. I didn't eat it last night. I was proud. I didn't even taste his, which I have wanted to. Today is better too.

Hi All,

I'm doing good on my diet, and my mood is improving.  These two things may be related!

breakfast - salmon

lunch - Mexican - probably fajitas - but no chips or tortillas!

Dinner - I have a little left over crack slaw that I'll probably eat.
