Surgery in 7 days!
Excited, scared, elated, worried, weary, anxious....I could go on and on about the rollercoaster of emotions going on right now. But I'm ready. I've been ready for more years than I would like to count. I've researched and read and been lurking on forums for years. I know what to do and when to do it and I'm tired of waiting. I want to know if it will really work for me. I love reading all the before and after stories, but I'm ready to make my own 'after story'!
Awesome......yup.....those emotions sound pretty normal......just go with it and know that you're taking charge of your health.
Be sure to keep up posted on how you're doing and let us know as soon as you're home so we can officially welcome you to the Loser's Bench. It's a really fun place to be!

I hear you - I decided I wanted the surgery in August 2009. Finally got approved and had it done (after years of lurking here) in June 2015. Am down over 75 pounds and could not be happier. You've got this!! See you on the other side!
