I hear you on the "need caffeine to get through college" thing. What I've opted to do, since I try to avoid liquid calories at all costs, is buy "caffeine mints." The ones I use are sweetened with Xylitol, so they're sugar free. (I think they're calorie-free as well, but I'd have to check. They're either zero calorie or very low calorie.) They give me the caffeine I need, when I need it, without the liquid calorie issue. Super useful!

Good morning, All,
I'm hanging in there on my diet plan, but still holding steady about 5 pounds above goal. Its been a stressful time for me, so I guess I should be patient, and glad I'm not gaining... But I'll keep trying
Breakfast - salmon
lunch - chicken salad with spicy peanut sauce over spiralized cucumber - yum
snack - finish off some left-over chicken dish.
dinner - pulled pork with mixed veggies
Have a good weekend, everyone.
Carol

Happy Friday! I did well yesterday other than a fresh out of the oven piece of banana bread. My family won't eat the hel and I can't through it out, because it is too delicious. My son and husband should have the whole loaf gone today so it won't be a temptation.
B: ham and cheese
L: ham and cheesy potatoes
S: popcorn (We are going to see Fantastic Beasts and I'm ridiculously excited!)
D: going out for Chinese after the movie. I'll probably just have a few bites of steak since I'll have eaten popcorn, which I absolutely LOVE!
