Surgery Thursday!

I have my surgery this Thursday and man am I nervous.  Would like some encouragement and any advise.  Felt like I was getting a cold which scared me a little however I believe it has passed.  Really glad I found this site I believe it will help me along the journey!

I just had my surgery last Wednesday so tomorrow will be my one week mark. Got home from the hospital on Friday and each day just gets better and better. Good luck to you. It is a long road to this point so congratulations for getting to this point and enjoy the rest of the journey.

I use to tell everyone food was my best friend, but my best friend was killing me 

OMG mine is on Monday, the 21st. Good luck. Well what can I tell you I've researched a lot and I hear something about getting gas while or after leaving the hospital. Buy some gas strips. Also heard that your mouth gets dry so get a mouth was for dry mouth and lastly something about the hospital being to cold and your stomach feeling uncomfortable so buy some hot patches or something.
