Surgery is Wednesday, Had a death in the family too. Need prayers!
Hey everyone,
My surgery is scheduled for Wednesday at 11:50a (tentatively). They are supposed to call me tomorrow with a more "set" time.
Sunday morning my husbands granny (the kids great grandmother) passed away in her sleep. She had been having issues with her legs swelling really bad and has had heart issues the last few years (maybe even longer I am not sure). But this has been really hard on the family, mainly my husbands papaw and our 8 year old son. We have 2 daughters too, 4 and 3, and so they dont REALLY grasp what has happened. They live next door to us though and so the kids were very close to her :(
They pushed the funeral out as far as they could to Thursday night at 8 pm so I am praying I can be there. Not just bc of my surgery but family needing to come in from different states etc. Many people who have had VSG with the bariatric place I am going to stated they were only in for one night but they also did well with the surgery, were drinking and walking fine. Some were in for two nights too though, like if they were vomiting etc.
I have had three csections before and I have heard this isnt as bad as a csection (I am sure it is different in its own way of course) but I just really need some good thoughts and prayers everything goes okay so I can be there for the funeral that night.
I dont even know if my husband will be able to stay with me the first night he may have to come back and take care of the kids (papaw and granny were supposed to watch them for us :(......but I do have a friend that can stay all night with me if needed.
Anyway, I never really ask for prayers and such but I really need them. I am stressed out and sad.
