Airplane seats

I had my vsg surgery in Mexico on Feb 24 2016. I started off at 236 and I am now 144 pounds. The last time I was on a plane was flying home after surgery. I am going to   Bahamas next month. It is going to be so nice to fit  comfortably in a plane seat. I have bought all new clothes and bathing suits. This surgery was the best thing I ever did!

You will so enjoy more room on the plane! I haven't flown in a while, so I too am looking forward to it! Last time I was only down by like 50lbs, and while it made a difference, I'm sure now it would even be better!

Have fun in the Bahamas!!!

Congrats on your success! Not only is it nice to sit comfortably in an airplane seat but being able to cross your legs as well is fantastic!

Have fun!

Since I lost the weight - I can fit in any plane seat. But I find them horrible hard and uncomfortable. For 2-3 hour flight - I cringe and manage. For any 3+ hour flight - I bring my sitting pillow with me. Makes a huge difference. Specially if I can't get up and walk in the plane every hour or so.

If the trip is long - you may try to invest in a good cocyx pillow to bring with you on a plane.

When I had gotten in onderland, flying was FABULOUS!  Gaining the weight back sucked!  I have to fly in December, and I am looking forward to being down in weight and seeing the difference.

At 144 you will have SO MUCH ROOM!!!

So happy for you!  Wow, what a feeling to have that sense of freedom.  I can't wait to be where you are at.  Have a absolutely fabulous time.   Great job!
