Complication Insurance, Help please

Hi everyone, 

I found out today that my surgeon doesn't offer any kind coverage in the event of complications during or after my surgery. Can anyone recommend a company where I can purchase a policy? I'm a cash pay patient with insurance that only covers me in my home state. I'm having the surgery out of state, so, if there are any complications while I'm out of state, I won't be covered.

The surgeon's office will be able to give you the name of an insurance plan for coverage after surgery.  That is always the smart thing to do with self-pay either in the US or outside the country.
