How many ounces of food are you eating?

I'm 11 months since revision to VSG.  Wondered how many ounces of protein do you eat at a meal?  Or how much overall if it's a dish that combines protein and veggies?

Hi there-4 yrs post-VSG

i eat 3 oz of chicken, beef, pork, turkey, deli meat; then can't eat anything else like a salad or anything

4 oz fish and soft meat like canned chicken and then, again, nothing else for that meal

3/4 cup mixed food - chili, stir fry etc

Sounds about right.

I usually do 2 oz of chicken, and a small salad for lunch. Or 3 oz of fish with a little bit of tarter sauce. 4 oz at a time is still to much dense protein for me, most days.

I am 3 weeks post-op tomorrow from VSG surgery and am eating 3-4 oz of dense protein now along with the standard yogurt,  protein shakes, cottage cheese, etc.   Eagerly awaiting being able to have some veggies too.

If it's straight protein I measure out about 3 ounces of protein and then 1 ounce of a side.  If it's a mixed dish, I do about 4 ounces total.  (And try to get more of the protein in my serving.)

I can eat 8-12 oz, depending on what it is and whether I'm having a big tummy or small tummy day.  Most meals are around 6 oz.

I am 5 weeks post VSG and I am allowed to eat 2 oz per meal pureed, 2 oz of snack (yogurt) and 4 oz protein shakes. Tomorrow, I am able to start on soft solids, but my max allowable is then 3 oz total per solid meal with protein and soft cooked vegetables mix or just 3 oz of dense protein.

I am almost 4 months post surgery and I eat 4 oz at lunch and dinner.  Usually 3 of protein rest vegetable.  But 1 meal a day is a hard boiled deviled egg and that is less than 4 oz.  I use my digital scale and weigh everything still.

A little over 2 mo. post op revision to VSG, and I have 3 oz protein + 1 oz (veggies, fruit or starch/fat) or 4 oz mixed dish. About 3.5 is perfect for me so I often leave just a little behind.
