Uncomfortable eating

How long before you were able to eat without feeling weird?  It's hard to explain but eating is not a good feeling for me. I don't over eat but I am uncomfortable when I eat and I don't understand why. I am not sure if it's because I hear my stomach everytime I eat or drink. Drinking is uncomfortable as well. My surgery was 6/21/16 and I have lost over 60 lbsand I am glad of that. I just need to know how long it will be before I can eat or drink and feel normal. I had this surgery because I had major issues with the Lap Band so truth be told it's been over 2 years since I have eaten and felt normal.

It took me about four years to feel normal when eating.

I guess what does "uncomfortable" mean?  Just a feeling that is disconcerting or actually physical discomfort?

I'm about 14-15 months out (too tired at work to math).  Still "weird" for me.  Not uncomfortable unless I overdo unfermented dairy or eat dry foods.  Fried food of any kind is a big huge nope.

Drinking is variable.

I follow a ketogenic diet post-op. I also have a diagnosis of binge eating disorder. Feel free to ask me about either!

Yeah, food feels really lumpy and foreign in my stomach. I don't like the new full feeling but I'm sure I will get used to it eventually. One thing I've noticed is that heavier meats sit better than softer casserole type foods.
