Almost Guilty Confession
I will definitely keep that in the back of my head. I know it can't be all sunshine and rainbows. Lol

I totally agree with you. Great analogy! I was talking about my actual stomach. The physical side of my surgery. My head is a whole other story!!! That's why I'm scared I will screw this up! I may not speak up a lot but I'm here every damn day! Every time I feel hopeless I
come here and something somewhere on here sheds a light on what I'm feeling or what's going on with me. NONE OF US ARE ALONE HERE
Hi!!! It is soooooooo great, I feel great too and the time has gone by so fast for me. I got sleeved in February, im 6 months post op and I have lost about 80 lbs so far since I began this journey. Aside from getting married and having my 3 children, this is one of the best things in my life. I have never felt this great, and I have never been this thin. I don't think that I was even this weight when I got married.
You will keep on losing, week after week , the pounds will just come off and you wont even believe it. Congratulations ! and keep up the good work!!!
I too am from Jersey!!!

Aww! How fabulous!!! Congratulations on your exciting journey and nice to see another NJ-ian in the group! :) I've never been thin, so, this is all new territory for me! Can't wait to see where I land!!! :)

Thank you so much! I appreciate it. I have just heard so many people who could barely sip fluids, needed a nap mid-day, had to take extended leave from work, horrific pain, difficulty getting pureed foods down, etc. and this was all in the post-op few weeks. So, I was expecting alot of things and none of them came except the gas in the hospital. I guess i'd rather be let down in this fashion, where i didn't have a horrible experience, and be elated to know im able to get this program working so much sooner and so well! I can't wait as time goes on!!! :)

The sleeve is the tool. It's our own hard work that makes the miracles.

I only had one moment of regret about my surgery. It was 5 weeks after and I was just so tired and worn out. I was climbing stairs at work and felt so weak I wanted to cry. But everyday got easier and easier. Your moment may come, I hope not but brace yourself just in case. Blessings

I think the joy of no longer being MO outweighs the bumps in the road. I remember a week out thinking 'I can't believe I had surgery a week ago'... Switching to dense proteins was harder than I expected as I was having such an easy time of it.... but like I said, blips on the screen....the mental dialogue is the hard part.... Good Luck and enjoy the 'easy' ...

Enjoy it while you can cuz it does get harder the further out you get & you'll look back with fond memories on how it seemed so easy at first. Losing is way easier than maintaining.
