Weird WL pattern

I was sleeved on August 9/16.  Pre Surgery 303 SW 285 CW 255.

I am tracking everything, weighing and measuring too. I eat 750-800 cal/day.  85 g of protein 30-40 g of carbs, and 30 g of healthy fats.  I am hungry about 90 minutes after I eat.

I seem to stall for 5-6 days and stay at the same weight.   Then I go up 1 pound for a day, then I drop 3 pounds the following day.  This pattern has repeated itself since week 2.  Basically I'm losing 2#/week.

The WL is so slow.  However, almost everyday someone comes up to me to ask if I've lost weight or to tell me I look amazing. so I guess it must be working.   It's just a little frustrating that its so slow and I've been SO good! .

Two pounds a week sounds pretty awesome to me.  That's 8 pounds a month on average.  If you sustain that, you'll be rocking.  Stair step patterns are totally normal for weight loss.

This is called a stair step pattern of weight loss. A very large percentage of people lose in this pattern -- maybe even a majority.

Weight loss per week can look erratic. If you look at it monthly, it's a little more predictable.

You are a few days short of 2 months post surgery, and are down 30 pounds? That would be almost 4 pounds a week average. 30 pounds in two months is great.

That's absolutely fantastic weight loss.  I'd take 2 pounds a week these days, heh.  I have my own bad habits to blame for that, though!

I follow a ketogenic diet post-op. I also have a diagnosis of binge eating disorder. Feel free to ask me about either!

I'm 4 months out and this has been my pattern exactly. I lost like gangbusters the first two months and then it sloooowed down. I'm actually glad as the super rapid loss was freaking me out a little.

2 lbs a week is great. That's 104 lbs a year if you can keep it up. Nothing to be frustrated about. Good job.
