My plan for the day involves going to the Ren Faire and eating out.  My partner is having cardiac catheter ablation tomorrow and the day's plans revolve around keeping him distracted.  He's pretty worried/nervous.  :(

1: protein shake
1.1: a few bites of the potato spiral things that the Faire sells.  I wish they sold half portions, since I'll literally only eat a few bites before thinking, "why am I eating this?"  But they're so good and it's only once a year.  Yum.  It's funny to think that I pretty much used to go to the Faire to eat and now I don't.
2: out to the diner by the Faire - menu link - no idea what I'll get here.
3: out for Indian - link - no idea what I'll get here either.  Perhaps Malai Kofta since those were amazing last time.

liquid and vites: vites on track, liquids might be a challenge due to the time at the Faire, but I'll do my best!
exercise: nope!  (I'll be walking around at the Faire, but activity != exercise.)

How about you on this fine Sunday?

Since I am less than 1 week post op I think I will enjoy a vanilla premier protein shake, a watermelon liquid protein shot, 64 Oz of water and top it off with same tasty chicken broth.

Who knew the chicken broth cube thingys would taste so good?  I guess after having nothing bu****er for the last 30 days just about anything with flavor is an upgrade.

Have fun on your day out!

My husband had ablation done 10 years ago to burn the misfiring nerves. We were also very freak out about it but it went well and all was pretty much back to normal within 48 hours. It took longer till he felt all the benefits from it but is feeling great now. Good luck and prayers!

Thanks!  He's way more nervous than I am - he's heard too many horror stories for his own good :/

I am right along with you!.. I love the warm chicken broth. The muscle spasms in my stomach are a little troublesome. Spoke with the surgeon on yesterday and after reading a few past post on here, I'm encouraged that they are temporary. So here's to sipping and next week pureed foods!...Cheers!
