Happy Friday!  Not so happy for me since I get to have two temp crowns put in today, but oh well.  It's still Friday and my dentist is awesome.  

1: protein shake
2: um.  This will be post-dental work so I might have another shake.  Or just skip it.  Woe is me.  
3: meaty baked tortellini - not a good VSG friendly meal, but it'll be soft and the guys asked for a pasta casserole.  I'll have some for dinner tonight and they'll be responsible for all the leftovers.

B:  cheerios - no milk 

L:  Chinese buffet - 

D:  1/2 grilled cheese or soup from yesterday's roast chicken (yum, yum, yum)

E:  already walked and walking again later before the rain comes in

L/V  good on the liquid - I'm bad on the vits - but my labs have been good so... : /

Remember that regular blood work won't tell you if your calcium is good because the blood will leech calcium out of your bones if it needs to.  The only way to tell if your calcium levels are actually sufficient is with a bone scan (DXA).

Interestingly, I work at Hologic - we make the bone scan device!!!  (As well as 3D mammography machines) :D

Booo I hate going to the dentist!

 

B - Protein shake

L - Rotisserie chicken salad & pork rinds 

S - probably a P3 with lunch meat, almonds and cheese.

D - No clue. We will be on the road.

 

We are going to my Husband's parents for the weekend so I don't know what I will be eating all weekend. This will be my first time out of town since surgery. I better pack some snacks because I doubt they will have anything I can eat. They are big on biscuits, cornbread & frying! I tried to make turkey jerky in the oven and that was a big fail!!! The lowest my oven goes is 160 deg and apparently is way too hot even with the door propped open. Oh well, got some dog treats!

D: 1/2 cup home made chili

Sorry about the crowns! I had a temp crown placed last week Thursday so I feel half your pain. 

  1. Piece of chicken breast with almond and Parmesan "breading" and a small side of green beans
  2. Same
  3. Turkey stick and string cheese stick
  4. Skipped the cupcakes at work and had a glass of magnesium water  

Water: Good

Vitamins: Always

Exercise: Dog walk only 1.6 miles today. Ran around a bunch at work though.
