A few weeks ago I rearranged my closet into sections - what fits now, what will fit in 5-10 pounds and what will fit down the road.

The first group is already gone as I had them picked up for donation or I've given them to a friend who can use them.

Yesterday I went into the second section to pick out the clothes I need for work as I'm starting a new job on Monday......HOLY SMOKES.....most of them are too big!!! There is now a huge pile of slacks that I was going to shorten, but now they are in the going out the door pile. I put on a shirt for a meeting tonight and I had to laugh because it was huge.

The down the road clothes are still a little snug, but there is definitely light at the end of the tunnel. Once those are fitting, then I need to go shopping............thank goodness my shoes and jewelry still fit!

I did the same thing (and still ended up with a few things I never wore which went from too small to too big in a few weeks).

that's exactly what's happening here....I took out a pair of slacks last night that I figured I'd be able to wear starting this week....so I was going to shorten them..........well, the tags are still on them and they aren't getting shortened because they are WAY too big.......woo hoo!!! Loving my sleeve!
