Yesterday did not go as planned.  I don't know if it was the blood draw in the morning or what, but I felt odd all day and ended up eating off plan to try to fix the oddness.  Thankfully, a few extra carbs did fix things and I ended the day feeling much better than I did in the middle of the day.

1: protein shake
2: leftover bonchon chicken - yum
3: chicken quinoa thing I didn't make yesterday

liquid and vites: on track
exercise: tomorrow is my race, so today I'm just going to do some yoga stretching

How about you?  What's going on in your world on this fine Saturday?

Good morning, Gwen.

I'm glad you are feeling better.

I have been back on plan for two days.  Yay!  And my scale is responding.  I'm cooking a ground beef and cabbage casserole,  a chicken with sun-dried tomatoes dish, chicken fajitas, and chicken with Dijon and lime.  These are all delightful low carb, low cal dishes that should help me stay the course for a while.

breakfast - salmon

lunch - ground beef and cabbage

dinner - chicken with sun-dried tomatoes

snack - none, or perhaps some nuts

vitamins and water - fine

exercise - lots of housework and cooking, but not motivated for more.

have a nice weekend, everyone

Carol

If the carbs are healthy, they can (and IMO should be) part of a sleever's diet. They have some good stuff in 'em! Glad you're feeling okay, Gwen.

My challenge today was my club's annual Pig Roast. The pig part was okay, just tasty roasted pork. But oh, the potato salad, baked beans, etc.! I had a scant half cup of homemade potato salad with my pork. When I added in my vitamin/mineral gummies and a piece of fruit, I found I'm already over 600 calories (I try not to go over 700/day). My supper will have to consist of a piece of a roasted chicken thigh; nothing else. Sigh.

  1. Coffee w/cashew milk
  2. Roast pork, potato salad (wasn't worth it!!)
  3. Skinless roasted chicken thigh
  4. Snack: Wedge cantaloupe

W&V: On track

E: None. No excuses.
