Almost to goal and maintenance

I have about 13 pounds to go until I get to goal . any suggestions on how to make those last few pounds come off faster

And then of course there's maintenance I have no idea how to keep it once I get there .  I've been focused on losing the weight for over year now so it's hard to imagine just trying to stay where I am .

 Thank you

It's good that you recognize that maintenance is a different animal from weight loss. I recommend reading "Refuse to Regain" by Barbara Berkely, M.D.

Some of her recommendations regarding portion sizes and appropriate foods must be tweaked a bit to fit a sleever's needs, but everything else is incredibly useful, even for those still losing weight (I'm susceptible to regain even though I'm not at goal).

Congratulations on nearing goal. Good luck!

Congrats on your WL so far !!!

The last 13 may be harder than the previous 130......

Old school down and dirty dieting with calories near 600 is what it took for me.

The first year of maintenance is not much different than WL.

Keep the path !!!

Congratulations, first of all! You and I are in a very similar place. I'm 12 lbs. from goal and the last 20 or so have been harder than the first 150 for me! I've heard from many of the vets that going back to the basics is always helpful to break a stall or get to goal. It's just finding the initial motivation that's the hard part for me. :)
