I can't imagine how frustrating that must be.
BUT, if the doctor was sick, would you really want to be exposed to those germs? Heaven knows what could get in you while you've got open incisions on the operating table.

Oh, man! I would be so upset, too! But.... the surgeon did the right thing. If she is ill you don't want her cutting on you, if it's not 100% necessary (like to save your life). You want her to be at her best and not expose you to potentially dangerous germs during surgery.
So, so sorry you have to postpone.
That really, really sucks. I'd be fuming. But like the others said, your doc did the right thing.

All good things to those who wait! Just know you will have this story to tell forever. Relax, soon you will be 6 months post op, and feeling fit and lighter than you ever remember. there is no reason getting upset over things you cannot change, but I do feel for you. Hang in there!
