anyone have bad GERD at the beginning that got better over time?

Generic Protonix (pantoprazole). 40mg pills. Once a day. It works wonders for me!

That's the one I haven't tried. I'm on dexilant.

Many things cause GERD for us.  Dexilant is one of the best, if not the best, meds for it, so it's odd you'd still have it.  It could be a hernia or or other structural issue too.  Mine has gotten worse, but I have a hernia.  Higher carb foods and food intolerance can also cause it.

I follow a ketogenic diet post-op. I also have a diagnosis of binge eating disorder. Feel free to ask me about either!

I know :( I am going to see a GI soon. Maybe there is some problem with my sleeve.

I had surgery 5/2/16. I had a lot of GERD and acid hunger at first. I have been on Nexium which does control the symptoms for me. Recently I forgot to refill my script and have gone 2-3 days without the PPI without any symptoms. Hopefully your symptoms will improve in time also.
