Try switching the PPI. We have one poster on here (Karik) who had to try different options and eventually found one that worked. I had to switch from omnaprozole to pantoprozole (spelling is way off), and then also take it twice a day for a while. Check in with your doc and see about adjusting it. Hang in there!

I HAD TO DO THE SAME I STICK TO OMEPRAZOLE. THE OTHERS DIDNT WORK I HAD SO MUCH ACID I WAS THROWING UP BIAL WHEN I WAS DRINKIGN WATER. IT SUCKED REALLY BAD

I had to try 4 different acid reduceres before we hit on one that worked and that I wasn't allergic too (so weird!). Prescription Protonix finally worked for me. And those acid/reflux pangs feel exactly like hunger pangs
