This one came from my sleeve sister GrayC.  I love it, but I love balsamic vingar.

Crock Pot Balsamic Chicken

Ingredients:

  • 1 Tbs garlic powder

  • 1/2 cup basil

  • 1 tsp Salt

  • 1/2 tsp pepper

  • 2 Tbs onion powder

  • 1 Tbs olive oil

  • 1/2 Tbs crushed garlic

  • 1 onion sliced thin or diced

  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar

  • 8 chicken boneless skinless chicken thighs

Directions:

  1. Combine the first 5 ingredients in a bowl, coat both sides of thighs ( I usually make double or more of the dry mix to coat it well.)

  2. On the bottom of the crock pot put olive oil, chopped garlic and sliced onion

  3. Add coated thighs on top, pour balsamic vinegar over thighs

  4. Cover and cook on high 4 hours.

I made this for supper last evening. It was fabulous, the whole family liked it. Have never had thai food before, was like nothing I have ever tasted? Chicken was so tender and tasty. Thank you for sharing!

The easiest recipe I've found (and is great protein-wise) is Buffalo chicken.

Combination of boneless chicken breasts and thighs - about 3-4 pounds

1 package dry ranch seasoning mix

1 bottle Frank's Red Hot Buffalo Wings sauce

1 8 ounce bar of cream cheese

Add everything except cream cheese to crockpot.  Cook on low for 6-8 hours.  Add cream cheese about an hour before you want to eat.  Shred the chicken with two forks.

You can also add a couple tablespoons of butter if you want some tasty fat.  I cook A LOT, the portion it out, freeze it and eat it for lunch.

BRO!!!

I havent had these since before surgery, but I freaking love it. I dont really like much of anything out of a crockpot aside from soup, but these? They are PHENOMENAL

1 4-5lb chuck roast

1 can beef consume

Half jar pepperoncinis + juice (I slice up some of the pepperoncinis)

Half packet of zesty italian seasoning mix (to make your own dressing, the little packets)

Crock pot low for 4 hours, around 30 minutes left shred the beef and let go.

I used to put on little kings hawaiian rolls w/ horseradish, now I'd just do the beef w/ horseradish

Things are awesome... I think theyre called "beef drip sandwiches"?
