Got my surgery date!!???

Hi all, new to this forum but have been reading everything I can since February when I decided to have this surgery.  I am still waiting on my insurance approval but my surgeon has scheduled me for 7/7!! Needless to say I was very surprised ... 3 weeks until my journey begins.  Just checking to see if anyone else was scheduled prior to insurance approval.  Pretty nervous to be so close to changing my life.

Congrats!!  I am just waiting for the final comb through of my records to ensure everything is there and then they can submit to the insurance company.  They will not schedule until approval from insurance.  I am hoping for mid to late July!  Congrats again!!

I was also scheduled before my insurance approved but I think the doctor's office has done enough to know that once all required paperwork was in that it would be approved, and I had 6 months worth of material for them to hand in, lol.

Congrats!  The surgery is life changing but hard work.  Put your nose to the grindstone and you'll do great

Thanks, it makes me feel better to know someone else had the same thing happen.  Im nervous but so ready, though my husband and adult children are starting to get very nervous.  Hoping with all the information I give them they will become less afraid for me.  Congrats to your continued success!

Just a suggestion for you...click on community on the top blue line, scroll down to recent and upcoming surgeries, find someone with your surgery date and become surgery buddies.  It's really nice to have  someone to go through it with.
