Keeping your surgery a secret?

  I only told a few people, my family and 1 friend. I didn't tell the people I work with because I remember how negative they were when another person at work had a gastric bypass. I'm glad though that I told my friend. She was concerned but supportive. I think I would tell a friend of 20 years. You might just inspire her, and if not and she cuts ties with you,she wasn't really much of a friend
