please tell me about life after the sleeve

Yes, my physical appetite has been greatly reduced.  The removal of the stomach that generates ghrelin definitely helped me.  But fighting the head hunger is an ongoing battle.

I have discomfort, not pain, if I eat too much.  I am generally great at weighing portions to make sure that my sleeve can handle it.  On some occasions, I've pushed the boundaries and it's not fun.  All you can do is wait for the food to process in your stomach, and hope that you've learned something.

I can drink large quantities of fluids without problems.  After surgery, your sleeve is swollen and you won't be able to take more than small sips.  Now I can down huge gulps as I did prior to surgery without pain or discomfort.

Love my sleeve.  Would do it again in a heart beat.
